When you arrive at our gallery, go to the registration desk to register for a bidder number.
You will need to show a valid Driver.s License and a Master Card or Visa credit card. If you do
not wish to use a credit card, you must provide a bank letter of credit indicating your account
number and the level of credit available. This letter must be provided prior to the auction so the
information can be verified with your bank. You may also pay by cash or wire transfer.
Print and complete our Absentee Bid Form indicating your maximum bid on each lot, excluding buyer's premium.
Return this form to us by email or fax (720-399-8511), or regular mail (2550 East Trinity Mills Rd, Ste #110, Carrollton TX 75006). Please allow 3-6 working days for surface mail.
Be sure to sign the form at the bottom. We require a security deposit via Credit Card (MasterCard or VISA) to secure your absentee bid. Alternately, you may arrange a cash deposit of 1/3 of your bid total.
Absentee bids left with us are executed confidentially and competitively. If your maximum bid is $500 and the bidding stops at $200, the lower price is the selling price to you. However, you must be prepared to go as high as your maximum bid. We never disclose to anyone any information about absentee bids.

We reserve phones on a first come, first served basis.
This is done by mailing (2550 East Trinity Mills Rd., Ste., #110, Carrollton TX 75006), emailing or faxing us (720-399-8511) a completed and signed copy of our Telephone Bid form.
This form must be received by the close of business on the evening immediately prior to the day of the auction. No telephone reservations are accepted unless form is received.
We require a security deposit via Credit Card (MasterCard or VISA) to reserve a telephone, but you are not required to pay for purchases by credit card. Lot numbers and a short description of the items should also be indicated on the form.
During the auction, a member of our staff will call you about 3 minutes before the item comes up, and help you bid live at the auction. We sell an item about every 45 seconds and you must be prepared to bid quickly. We sell in the numerical order indicated in the catalogue, and we sell about 70-90 lots an hour.

A 23% buyer's premium will be applied to the purchase price on all lots bought in person, by telephone , absentee bidding directly with Sofe Design Auctions or via Sofe Design Auction live bidding platform. A 25% buyer's premium applies for all internet bidding conducted through liveauctioneers.com or invaluable.com
Payment must be made by USD in cash, approved USA BANK checks, wire transfers, MasterCard or VISA credit cards. Credit Card Limit 5,000 USD. We reserve the right to require bank checks for large purchases. Buyer's not known to us who wish to write a check must provide a current letter of credit from their bank guaranteeing funds for that account. Credit arrangements must be made by the Friday prior to the day of auction so bank statements can be verified. We reserve the right to not issue a buyer's number or to withhold merchandise if appropriate credit line has not been established. We do require wire transfers( fee 40 USD) for international bidders.
Payment for all purchases is expected at time of purchase. Payment for successful absentee, phone bids and online bids are required within five business days of the auction. Your signature on this form constitutes permission to charge successful bids to credit cards if payment is not received within five days of the auction. Bidder cards will be charged 5 days after an invoice has been sent.
All purchases are subject to 7.65 % Colorado sales tax if sales in Colorado or 8.25% if sales is in Texas unless the CO Certificate of Resale tax form is fully and completely filled out and received prior to time of purchase. Resale tax numbers from other states are accepted. International buyers are responsible for tariffs, taxes, or assessments of shipped items to the buyer's country.
IT IS THE BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE AND PAY FOR PACKING & SHIPPING. WE DO NOT MAKE SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS OR QUOTE SHIPPING Purchased items not picked up from our auction facility within 14 business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. You authorize us to re-sell on your behalf any item not picked up within 30 calendar days. The costs of storage, plus any other costs directly related to the item, and an auctioneer's commission of 23%, will be subtracted from the proceeds unless other arrangements have been made with Sofe Design Auctions. The minimum charge will be $50. Final arrangements and agreements are strictly between the buyer and the shipper. SOFE is not responsible for the buyer's choice of a shipper or for any occurrences during shipping.
