Antique watercolor " Fox Hunting" by listed artist George Goodwin Kilburne I, image size 13,5" x 8,5"George Goodwin Kilburne I was active/lived in United Kingdom, England. George Kilburne is known for genteel Victorian/Edwardian era genre and figure painting, engraving. Second painting is 1921 Scene by listed artist John Rankin Barclay ( 1884-1962), image size 11" x 9,25"John Rankine Barclay was born in Edinburgh, in 1884. He trained at the Royal Scottish Academy Schools in 1908. Additionally, he won the Guthrie award (c. 1911), and a Carnegie Traveling Scholarship which allowed him to visit and work in France. Provenance – Single collection of recently deceased James S Horigan who lived in England and owned gallery and later moved to Colorado.
