First – Rare 18th Century Colonial gesso wood carved crucifix with glass eyes. Handmade nails. Later restoration. Its dimensions are 26" high x 28" width. Second – Gothic style antique crucifix featuring the phrase INRI atop the crucifixion. INRI stems from the Latin phrase Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum meaning Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews. Style typically found in Latin American countries. This piece is in good condition. Total dimensions: 26.25" H x 18" W. Third – Handmade Ethiopian Coptic Metal Processional Cross. Typical of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. Intricate lattice work in middle symbolizes everlasting life and recounts the nature of the Ethiopian Church. Attached to metal base.
