In its gilt brass mounts with a folding guard and heavily worn shark skin covered grip, main guard with very elaborate open-work featuring a crowned Royal Cipher. Almost straight single edged large fullered blade with very fine etched panels retaining most of its original mirrored finish. Lower blade with a brass inlaid Proof mark and Irish maker’s logo on reverse. In its steel scabbard having two suspension rings. Rare and unusual example. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 39 1/4" , Blade Length : 32 1/4"
