Wells Fargo & Co leather cartridge box, gang stamped on the inside of the lid " Wells Fargo & Co. Express R.W.P.O. Railway Post Office". large cal.45-70 circa 1860-80. a long with a hand made leather mail pouch with branch brand "RS" lock is " W. Wilcox & Co." dates to 1870’s. Locked, no key. The cartridge box and the branded mail bag have been together forever.
