A Very Nice 1840s-1860s English Folding Bowie Knife by "HORSEN" made for American Market, probably Civil War used. With ornate German silver guard and bull horn grips with mother of pearl sections. Mounted with a strong clip point blade having partially worn maker’s name on lower ricasso. Total length unfolded : 10 1/2", Blade length : 4 1/2"
