A Large example with its fine fire gilt brass hilt having pierced kidney shaped guard and a deluxe grip wrapping. Mounted with a very good double edged Colichemarde blade of hexagonal cross-section, very sturdy and strong, ready for most efficient battle action. Lower blade retaining its blued panels with etched crowns, cipher, bow & arrows and floral motives. A very attractive rapier with a quick and absolutely deadly blade. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 39 3/4". Blade Length : 33"
