A Very Unusual Home Made 19th C. Dagger Bowie Knife with a Spirit Alphabet Board Guard. Heavy solid iron grip, huge copper guard consisting of two discs with alphabet for talking to spirits. A Strong single edged blade of very distinctive style. A very interesting and highly unusual 19th century dagger, probably American made. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 16 1/2", Blade Length : 10 3/4"
