A Large Confederate Fighting Dagger – Bowie Knife, American Civil War era. A well built example with a lovely natural wood grip and strong brass mounts, wearing a powerful large double edged blade, hand forged by a local neighborhood blacksmith to give it to one of the youngsters joining the Confederate Army. This knife is surely built for most efficient and serious combat action. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 20 1/2", Blade Length : 14 3/4"
