Interesting and unusual example of German manufacture for a higher ranking officer of the Argentina army, mounted with an Outstanding quality T-spine multi fullered blade having exceptionally fine etched and fire gilt decorations to the lower half, the rest retaining its original mirrored finish and featuring a strong high relief central ridge running to the entire tip of this Fabulous blade. In its white brass furniture with a shark skin and wire bound grip, guard adorned with a relief crest of Argentina, Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 39", Blade Length : 31 1/2"
