Very fine Native American Navajo sterling silver with turquoise squash blossom necklace by well known Navajo artist Raymond Bennett. Signed. Raymond Bennet, Navajo lives where he was born and raised, in Gallup, New Mexico. He learned his craft from his family members, including both his parents and his uncles.Raymond Bennett (Navajo) is a listed silversmith in Barton Wright’s "Hallmarks of the Southwest". He began using “R. Bennett or Ray Bennett” in 1978. At one time Ray was the resident silversmith for Atkinson’s Trading CompanyNecklace is 14 3/4" long, total weight is 212 grams.
