Very Unusual 19th C. Russian Caucasian KINJAl Dagger with Niello Silver Mounts. A long and very combat-efficient example with unusual Sting-Ray skin elements to its leather bound scabbard, large horn grips carved in traditional manner, all with Niello silver mounts. Mounted with a vicious double edged blade with multi fullered construction, possibly of Damascus steel showing interesting layered patterns and traces of etched decorations.Dagger is 23 1/2", blade is 16 1/2".
