Rare and Fine 19th C. Russian Caucasian KINJAL Dagger in Silver ZARNISH Iron Mounts. A rather uncommon and seldom encountered example of beautiful quality, having strong iron furniture richly decorated with floral silver "Zarnish" work. Mounted with a strong broad double edged blade having different fullers configuration to each side, the back of the blade with large deeply struck maker’s marks, including some Islamic calligraphy inside. Beautiful dagger of rare and fine workmanship.Dagger is 19 3/4", blade is 12 3/4".
