Good 19th C. Russian Caucasian KINJAL Dagger in Niello Silver Mounts. Mounted with a strong double edged blade having slightly different fullers configuration to each side, one side of the blade with a struck cartouche depicting a maker’s name in Islamic calligraphy and highlighted with gold. In its silver mounts with intense Niello decorations, back of the scabbard having a calligraphic inscription in Niello and interesting unusual carved designs.Dagger is 19 3/4", blade is 14".
