Scarce 17th-18th C. English WALOON Type Horseman’s Saber Sword. Mounted with a broad lightly curved blade having narrow spinal fuller to each side. With its steel hilt furniture of distinctive Waloon type guard style, grip with steel wire bondage bordered by brass bands, possibly with traces of gold gilt finish.Sword is 29,5", blade is 24,5".
