Large 18th-19th C. Islamic Ottoman Turkish or Greek YATAGAN Sword. An unusual and large example with a set of very nicely shaped bull horn grips of traditional eared style, having silver or silver alloy mounts. Wearing a long powerful blade of somewhat scarce configuration, having a central ridge through almost its entire length. With its original leather over wood scabbard, probably a Military issued example.Sword is 30", blade is 24 1/4".
