Lot 117:
Extremely Rare 15th-16th C. Mughal Indian Massive 5-Barrel Hand Cannon. Of significant proportions, equipped with 5 individual barrels each having its own touch-hole, allowing the Match-lock mechanism to ignite all 5 barrels at ones or individually depending on the powder distribution in to the steel slot mounted across the base of the barrels. With its original wood bed and iron mounts, the handle might be slightly reduced over the age, however it appears to be close to its original length. A very impressive early Mughal warrior’s weapon of Museum rarity.Hand cannon is 36" x 11".
