Rare 18th-19th C. Persian Warrior’s KHULA-KHUD Helmet. a beautiful and scarce example, wrought entirely of steel with extensive etched Islamic scripts and decorations, traces of original gold inlaid trimming around the rim. Top of the helmet adorned with an impressive horned demon head and a top spike, back of the head with a large Maker’s cartouche. Original long chain mail still present and mostly intact. A very impressive, early and truly handsome example.
