Nice Large 19th C. Indian TULWAR / SHAMSHIR Sword with Damascus Blade. Having a large iron hilt of traditional Hindu sabers style, richly decorated with silver inlaid Kofgari, wearing a powerful blade of pattern-weld damascus steel, deeply struck with a maker’s mark to the lower ricasso. An attractive and very deadly saber of Hindu warriors.Sword is 33 1/2", blade is 31 1/2".
