Rare & Unusual 18th-19th C. Islamic Indian or Persian TABAR Fighting Ax. Featuring a strong well forged ax head decorated with lovely silver damascene, the back of the head mounted with highly unusual brass figure of a Praying Angel. Mounted on its wooden haft having multiple brass flower studs with steel nail center. Very attractive and highly unusual example.Ax is 23 1/2" x 6 1/2".
