Nice Quality Victorian Copper Shield in Italian 16th C. Parade Armor Style. A well detailed and very decorative example of the Victorian era representation of the early Renaissance Royalty shield, profusely embossed with battle-scenes against the castle, with Medieval era Soldiers and knights in armor, armed with swords, Rondel daggers, axes, arrow bows and spears. The other decorations include arms and armor, mythological motives, cannons and fruit baskets, all showing lovely details. Size : 24 1/2" x 17 1/4"
