Dated 1816 French Napoleonic Era Trooper’s Cuirass Armor. Rare early example consisting of strong steel breastplate and backplate, both with frequent brass rivets. Breastplate with arsenal markings and date 1816 later re-issued in 1820, retaining its original lining. Backplate is hallmarked on the lower side and features punctured battle mark at the liver area of the back. Very cool battled with example.
