Good Long 17th-18th C. Spanish or Italian Cup-Hilt Rapier Sword ~ Chiseled Steel Mounts. Mounted with a long double edged blade of diamond section, lower blade bearing a old label which says "Art Gallery" on it. With its chiseled and pierced cup-guard with scalloped edges. Good early example of substantial length, well balanced, quick and deadly in a skilled hand. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 51", Blade Length : 43 1/4"
