Very Good Cromwellian BURGONET Helmet ~ English Civil War ~ Circa 1650s-1670s. A very large and well-built example forged of strong steel with raised ridge on top of the skull, large riveted visor and large hinged ear flaps. Adorned with a series of steel rivets and nice decorations. A very attractive helmet, most likely an officers type from around English civil war era or slightly earlier.
