Rare 16th C. German Landsknecht BOLLOCK Thrusting Dagger. Of a distinctive form with a lovely elegant wood grip carved with kidney shaped ferrule area in traditional manner, with engraved iron pommel and cross guard having down-turned finials. With its vicious armor piercing blade of cruciform section. Beautiful and very elegant example of these early Germanic knight’s weapons. Overall length: 15 1/4". Blade length: 10 1/2".
