Rare Pattern 19th C. German Prussian Officer’s Dress Sword. Beautiful sword with distinctive and very ornate brass mounted hilt showing traces of original gold finish and having lovely mother of pearl grips, topped by a fabulous Prussian Eagle head pommel. Mounted with a straight single edged blade profusely etched to both sides. In its leather scabbard with white paint finish and gilt brass mounts en suite to the hilt. A very attractive and seldom encountered example. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 37 1/2 " Blade length : 31 3/4"
