Model 1796 English Infantry Officer’s Rapier Sword. In its gilt brass mounts with a silver wire grip. Wearing a large straight single edged blade with a large fuller and unusual etched decorations, retaining some of the original gilt finish over once blued panels. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 38 1/2" Blade length : 32"
