Scarce 18th C. Islamic Arabic Warrior’s Chain Mail Armor Shirt. A seldom encountered variation of the Arab warrior’s battle shirt. With its interconnected steel links, each of the twisted double-coiled formation. With its long collar which can be opened or closed to cover the neck and chest cavity. Held by a small iron hook on the other part of the collar. A very rare style of links in oppose to a more common riveted construction, these ones interconnect as key-rings by sliding inside each other. Height: 29".
