Nice Japanese Samurai WAKIZASHI Sword ~ Bizen, SUKESADA ~ Koto era. A very elegant example in its chiseled iron furniture, iron Tsuba of a Kano Natsuo style, Mino school menukies. Mounted with a beautiful and deadly early fullered blade, showing light but interesting Hamon tamper-line, tang bearing a partially worn smith signature, most likely Sukesada, who cut very shallow signatures during late koto times. Bizen province, Circa late Koto era (16th century). Total Length in Scabbard – 29" Blade Length (along the spine, from Habaki notch to the tip) – 21 1/4"
