Rare 17th-18th C. Islamic Turkish Hancer Dagger with Wootz Damascus Blade. In its silver furniture of typical form adorned with carved floral decorations. Mounted with a strong and sturdy double edged thrusting blade having prolonged armor-piercing tip for penetrating through chain-mail armor links. Both sides of the blade with chiseled and gold inlaid decorations, showing areas of detectable fine watered patterns of early Wootz damascus steel.
