Rare 19th C. Russian Caucasian KINJAL Dagger with a Side Knife Compartment. In its full silver furniture with carved and Niello inlaid decorations. Black of the scabbard having a slander compartment to house a smaller utility knife, Islamic numerals in Niello and stamped hallmarks for Imperial Russian silver. Wearing a strong double edged blade with different double fuller configuration to each side. A very attractive example of seldom encountered pattern. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 20 3/4" Blade length : 14 3/4"
