Excellent Burmese DHA Sword. An example of rare quality, the hilt and scabbard wrought entirely of silver, finely embossed and engraved throughout in bands of foliage between panels depicting numerous gods. The single-edged, well-forged steel blade with long false edge and short inscription. Inscribed on the scabbard with "Robert Whittle / Rangoon Burma". 19th-20th century.
