Large 19th C. Latin American Bowie Knife with Figural Brass Lion Hilt & Marked Blade. An impressive large bowie knife with a solid brass figural hilt showing gilt finish. Broad clip point blade struck to one side with serial number and markings. Most likely German made for one of the South American countries, Argentina or Brazil perhaps. With original brass mounted leather scabbard. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 17 3/4", Blade Length : 12 3/4" Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
