THANK YOU ~ ! ~~~~~~ Unusual Persian 19th – early 20th C. Dragoon Sword with Rare Blade. Based on the Russian 1881 dragoon sword pattern, in its brass furniture with fluted wooden grip, multiple hallmarks of Islamic letters and numerals. Wearing a very unusual multi-fullered blade which appears to be either Turkish or Caucasian Shamshir blade, bearing a large deeply struck maker’s mark with Arabic writing inside, other struck markings to the reverse ricasso. Very unusual and possibly Unique example.Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 39" Blade Length : 29 1/2".Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
