An outstanding example in its fire gilt brass furniture cast in high relief with American eagle to each side of the pommel and three stars to the langet, bearing free space where the MS or PE emblem would normally position. Mounted with a superb quality double edged oval section blade retaining most of its original mirrored finish with crisp etched decorations of wonderful quality, depicting American Eagle to each side, war trophies and elaborate floral scrolls. In its blued steel scabbard with richly gilt brass mounts en suite to the hilt.
