A very attractive high quality example of fine German manufacture, in its gilt brass mounts cast in high relief with Patriotic details, inside of the front clamshell guard with engraved presentation inscription to a captain of NCG (National City Guard) of either California or Colorado state. Shark skin grip with braid copper wire bondage. Mounted with a mirrored double edged blade of diamond section, profusely etched with war trophies and patriotic motives, lower blade struck with a German maker’s logo.Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 38 3/4" Blade Length : 31 3/4".Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
