Scarce 1818 Model NCO Sword by "Nathan Starr" ~ Used through American Civil War. In its iron mounts retaining partially worn blackened finish to wooden grip and iron scabbard. Blade of distinctive form, bearing well preserved markings to ricasso, evidence of combat to the edge. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 32 1/2" Blade Length : 26 1/4".
