French 1858 Signed & Dated Cuirassier or Dragoon Cuirass Body Armor. A nice complete example with both breast-plate and back-plate well inscribed and dated, the breast-plate was polished for display purposes while the back-plate remains untouched with patches of original rich patina. Both shoulder-straps retaining original leather and gilt brass chains. An attractive piece overall which will display very nicely.
