Very Fine American Civil War era English made Bowie Knife ~ Retailed by Tiffany Co. Broadway New York. Featuring a very fine silver mounted carved grip of noble material, bearing a lovely Patriotic scrimshaw on one side. German silver guard and a large clip point blade engraved with American Shield and NY letters, lower blade having a struck retailer’s logo to Tiffany Company. In its leather sheath having German silver mounts en suite to the hilt. A very beautiful knife overall. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 14 " Blade Length : 7 3/4".
