A very attractive early example most likely to predate the French Napoleonic era, in its brass furniture with a braid copper wire bound grip and an interesting scabbard having huge mounts en suite. Wearing a broad fullered blade which retains most of its wonderful blued and gold panels with engraved Mounted Hussars, war trophies and elaborate floral scrolls.
