Very fine antique pastel painting "Battle of Nieuwpoort" by listed Netherland artist Louis Moritz (1773-1850 ). Painter and draughtsman of historical scenes and portraits, mainly active in The Hague, Amsterdam and Leiden. Many of his scenes include the depiction of horses.His paintings in British Museum and several private collections. Great colors and details.
