An amazing find for any advanced collector, this Massive iron mounted artillery saber is surely One of a Kind early example dating from the Mexican War era, mounted with a huge broad blade etched to both sides with American Patriotic motives including the owner’s place and dates of service (San Pedro 1814-1847) Massive hilt adorned with a large solid silver grip featuring a lovely engraved image of a Catholic Monk holding a vine cup in one hand and a cross in the other.
