In its elaborate chiseled brass mounts with almost fully intact fire gilt finish, clam-shell bearing a royal cipher A-XIII. Mounted with a straight large fullered blade of unique configuration, having very thick edges for half of its length and featuring superb quality etched decorations, including Fabrica de Toledo and a manufacture date of 1866. A truly spectacular sword for either a Government official or a very high ranking military figure of a Royal status.
