A very nice and unusual example having a fine gold gilt brass hilt with a shark skin grip, lovely openwork royal monogram and ornate original knot tassel still present. Mounted with an unusually long Toledo blade of superb quality, retaining most of its original blued finish over intense engraved decorations. Dated 1847.
