A large heavy battle saber of the Hungarian Pandour free-lance warriors, in its iron furniture with a very distinctive iron locket to the top of the knuckle-bow, bare wooden grip damaged and reveals a large struck maker’s mark on the tang. Wearing a massive broad large fullered blade etched on one side with a large crowned two-headed eagle. In its original heavy iron scabbard having a distinctive reinforced throat mount and some struck Roman numerals just below it on the spine edge.Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : " Blade Length : ".
