Exceptionally fine and rare example, in its gilt copper furniture with noble material grip and sting-ray skin over wood scabbard having chiseled mounts en suite. Wearing a broad lightly curved battle blade bearing three large carved Chinese characters to each side, possibly a Presentation weapon to a higher ranking officer of the Chinese army, most likely to date from mid to late 18th century…Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 34" Blade Length : 28"Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
