A very unusual and good quality example, most likely Korean or Chinese origin, having mixed metal mounts including steel brass copper and silver, showing birds to one side and erotica motives to the other. Mounted with a strong almost straight double edged blade with a central reinforcement ridge, blade showing distinctive layered damascus steel patterns. A very good and rare Asian weapon overall.
