An exceptionally beautiful example in its highly ornate chiseled silver mounts and fine grips of noble material carved in a traditional pistol-grip form and retaining its original wrist-strap tassel. Mounted with a superb quality Persian Black Wootz damascus blade having a pronounced raised false edge tip area, one side with gold inlaid maker’s cartouche in Islamic Arabic writing. In its very fine original scabbard having red fabric cover and heavy silver mounts en suite to the hilt, complete with its original braid cord and knot tassels. Gorgeous and very rare example for a warrior of significant status and wealth.
