Very Good Signed 19th C. Islamic Arabic JAMBIYA Dagger in Heavy Silver Mounts with Belt. Back of the hilt is engraved with Islamic calligraphy. Another inscription is on the silver plaque inserted to the back of the leather covered silver scabbard. Very heavy solid silver mounts, a very good quality early example. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 15 1/2", Blade Length : 8 1/4" Width : 2 3/4"
