Edo Period Japanese Samurai ZUNARI KOBUTO Battle Armor Helmet. Common of the mid to late Edo period. Traditional 5-piece iron construction with 3-piece Shikoro and original Maebashi. Blue lacing. Exterior with gray to light greenish lacquer finish having relief spider-web patterns throughout. An attractive helmet overall and a fascinating piece of Samurai warriors warfare.
